Kinetic Parameters of the Cross‐linking Reaction of Cellulose Membranes with Bifunctional Epoxides

چکیده

Kinetic parameters of the cross-linking reaction porous cellulose membranes with aqueous solutions two different diglycidyl ethers were determined by dynamic DSC experiments. The autocatalytic behavior was described an extended Prout-Tompkins equation. analysis revealed a similar kinetic for both ethers, apparent activation energy 45–65 kJ mol−1 and order between 0.9 1.5, suggesting transition from one to another dominant mechanism when composition solution is changed. Conversion curves based on serve as basis design optimization continuously running process industrial-scale production cross-linked membranes.
